Priorities.

I have a penchant for Italian cars. I'm lucky enough to own or have access to a couple of Alfa Romeos and a Ferrari.
It's often said that it's all a waste of money, Why spend money buying and maintaining such things when all a car is for is to get from A to B.

It's very true, the main reason the motor car was invented was to travel. However when it becomes a hobby does that not change?
Hobbies arguably are a waste of money anyway. Of course they are because they're not necessary. So my argument has always been that we are here just once and surely are allowed to enjoy the time we have.
Whether you save the money and watch it grow, whether you spend it on a holiday or a ridiculous car such as a Ferrari, Lamborghini or Aston etc and indeed wall paper your favorite room with it (not met anyone yet that has done that mind), surely as long as you enjoy it and nobody suffers or gets hurt then why not?
